A gentle and natural alternative to the nylon kind commonly available, these ramie shower puffs will help caring for your skin every day.

Rub some soap or shower gel and see it foam into the ramie puff. Using the puff you will not need to use as much soap as usual, as it will foam more generously. Use it to gently exfoliate and cleanse your skin.

Product Care

Once used, simply rinse with hot water and keep dry in between showers. Ramie has amazing natural properties wich make it resistant to bacteria and mildew.

The Wonders of Ramie Fiber

Ramie is a flowering plant in the nettle family Urticaceae, native to eastern Asia. One of the oldest natural fibres, ramie is a crop used for more than six thousand years to produce luxurious textiles, skin care and bathing accessories.

Ramie fibre is white, lustrous and looks like silk, but it lacks stretch and elasticity. Extremely absorbent, much more than cotton, ramie fabric does not shrink. It is resistant to bacteria and mildew, which means it does not rot easily. Ramie fibre is costly due to its high labour requirement for production, and harvesting.

A very eco-friendly material, derived from a crop that has a life of up to 20 years and which can be harvested up to 6 times a year. This is a gentle and economical way to use soap as you need less to lather a lot, and it is gentle on your skin.

    I was so fed up with my local supermarket who had stopped selling the usual nylon shower puff I used I went on line to buy some. Then I found this natural Ramie puff. I am so delighted and won’t go back to the nylon sort again. Brilliant
